Wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee, and come
down for a cup. A full Country Breakfast is served daily
in the Gathering Room or on the porch between 8:30 am
and 10:00 am and includes the innkeeper's special menu
choice for the day. A continental breakfast is offered
beginning at 8:00 and includes coffee, tea, hot chocolate,
a variety of cereals, homemade muffins, toast, juice
and fruit.
Some of our breakfasts include Inn at the Oaks Pancakes,
Country Egg
Bake, Parmesan Baked Eggs, Captains Eggs, Overnight
Baked French Toast and Banana Walnut French Toast
and we usually serve meat on the side.
Our signature breakfast is Abelskivers, which are
a Danish Pancakes. They are round in the shape of
a ball, hollow in the middle and light and fluffy.
Served with maple syrup or jam. Our recipe was passed
down to Don from his Grandma Stinna. They are amazing
but you will wonder what the secret is to how they
are made.
