Welcome to the Inn at the Oaks. We look forward to greeting new guests and meeting old friends in the weeks ahead – from a safe distance, of course! To appease any concerns that you may have regarding your stay, please take a minute to review our information below. If you have any concerns, please call us directly and we will be happy to answer any questions that you have.
Check In and Check Out We have a new contact-less check in and check-out procedure. Upon arrival you will find an envelope with your name on it on the front foyer table that will have your sanitized room key and welcome letter with directions to your room. To check-out you will simply leave your key in the room. Please remember that a face mask or face covering is required in all common areas.
Breakfast Our extended continental breakfast will be served each morning to guests. We have indoor dining options in both the dining room and main common living room, plus our outdoor dining patio. We will provide two seating options; an 8:00 AM start, or 9:00 AM start time to help spread out the number of guests having breakfast (as usual we will accommodate an earlier start time for Gestalt attendees).) A staff member will be available to serve coffee at 7:15 AM for guests that like to grab an early cup!
Lunch or Dinner Take Out A reminder that you are always welcome to use the dining room, outdoor patio dining tables or any of the numerous picnic tables found around the Inn’s gardens to enjoy a takeout meal from our many wonderful local restaurants.
Afternoon Cookies and Coffee Our delicious cookies will be individually packaged and sealed. We will be happy to provide you with fresh hot coffee or tea, and in the Summer months we also offer either iced coffee or iced tea. Small bags of ice are available upon request.
Common Spaces To help maintain physical distancing, please enjoy our outside fire pit, our 2nd floor outside deck with 2 seating areas and our covered porches, as well as our indoor parlor, main living room, library, and tea nook.
Housekeeping We are following all cleaning and sanitizing protocols in accordance with CDC guidelines. We will not enter your room unless we receive a specific request for room service. We will check in with you each morning at breakfast to determine if you would like fresh towels or need any amenities replaced or trash removed. Please let us know if you need service at any time.
Our Staff All staff members will complete COVID-19 safety and sanitation training. Each staff person will have daily temperature checks, wear masks and gloves, and will keep their distance as best they can. Your innkeepers, Melody & Paul, are always on the premises and available if you need assistance.
