The Inn at the Oaks was originally built for a sea captain, Captain Barnabus Chipman, so this room is decorated with period pictures of ships and nautical scenes. This refreshing room features a gas stove, writing desk, and large bathroom with a footed tub.
The Garden Room offers a first floor entrance, semi-private porch and exterior entrance, and a fireplace. This room is perfect for those guests who pursue privacy or travel with a small pet, but like to have ready access to the common areas of the Inn. Your small private bathroom offers a stall shower.
These rooms are our most enticing rooms. They feature a queen size bed, antique furniture, a ceiling fan, and large bay windows that blanket the room in natural light.
